Sophia and I spent a full day shooting this stunning home in the Legends neighborhood of Bozeman, Montana. I love the overall feel of this home. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the bright, open dining area, the contemporary kitchen, and the great room. The kitchen in gorgeous with it's straight, contemporary lines and modern finishings. Sophia has great style in her design - I even love how she repurposes older, antique furniture with a new updated look. So creative!

A couple weeks ago I was contacted by The Wall Street Journal to photograph the House of the Year. In the contest, readers vote on their favorite homes from among the winners of the year's previous House of the Week polls. Over 40,000 people voted for the house of the year and The Belz Chateau up in Moonlight Basin was crowed the winner.
Just recently a home I photographed in Yellowstone Club for Kelly Hohla Interiors was featured in most recent Modern Luxury Silicon Valley. (See online article here.) Kelly & her team completely captured the warm, cozy Montana ski home feel but has modern and bright touches that keeps the home stylish.
Custom Yellowstone Club Hillside Condo by Locati Arcitects & Interiors- Architectural Photography in Big Sky, Montana -
A couple weeks back I shot a beautiful condo for Yellowstone Club. We started the shoot early, early, early to catch the sun coming through the great room windows. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t totally cooperate with us, but honestly the home is so beautiful it didn’t really matter.
Just recently Mountain Living Magazine came out with an article about the newly renovated Rainbow Lodge at Yellowstone Club - see article here. Rainbow Lodge is a beautiful, log lodge sitting halfway up Pioneer Mountain offering delicious food, a workout facility and pool, and a recreation area.
When I tell people that I photograph architecture for a living I usually get a confused look or a question as to what exactly architecture photography is. "You just go into a house and shoot a bunch of photos, right?" Though that is a way to document a structure, architecture photography for commercial purposes is a bit more complex than that and is an art form in itself.
A few weeks back I shot an amazing home up at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana. Recently, the LA Times has featured the home in their Real Estate section - see article here. This mountain-top home is amazing in so many different ways - the contemporary feel, the gorgeous views, the open floor plan. It has made it to the top of my list of favorite homes I have photographed.
