Capturing Art and Architecture: Photographing a Modern Yellowstone Club Home

Photographing this incredible condo in Yellowstone Club, recently featured in Elle Decor España, was an experience I won’t soon forget. This new build offered a sleek, modern aesthetic with bold, masculine touches and an impressive art collection, including pieces by Banksy - which was pretty cool to be in the presence of. One of the highlights of the shoot was watching the team set up a beautiful Steinway piano, which I captured in a time-lapse video—an unforgettable moment that adds to the story of this home.

As always, I leaned on natural light to bring out the best of this space. The condo’s huge windows framed expansive mountain views, creating a breathtaking backdrop. I made sure to showcase these views, which infused every room with light and warmth, grounding the art and modern finishes in the natural beauty of the Montana landscape.

Another focus of this shoot was on how the rooms connected, enhancing the flow between spaces. From the entryway and kitchen through to the dining room and great room, the design allowed each area to feel distinct yet cohesively tied to the next. Capturing this sense of connection was essential to conveying the layout’s openness and the seamless transitions that define this remarkable home.

This shoot, balancing the condo’s bold art and its warm natural light, was a pleasure from start to finish. I’m thrilled to see it shared in Elle Decor España and to have had the opportunity to showcase a truly unique mountain retreat.
