As an architectural photographer I find myself in some amazing homes.  From cozy, mountain cabins to large, modern homes I have seen it all.    The great room is one of my favorite rooms in the house.  This is the room that sets the mood of the entire home, a place where we love to entertain or relax after a long day. I have decided to put together a collection of my favorite great rooms from 2016.

This cozy cabin was originally designed to mimic the iconic lodges of Yellowstone National Park.  The stonework and cabin architecture makes this an incredible cozy space to lounge after a day on the Yellowstone Club ski hill.

This amazing Reid Smith Architects designed home is located on a bluff in Spanish Peaks Mountain Club .  The burned wood wall, the windows, and the birch bark wallpaper put this great room as one of my absolute favorites!!
